Summer Solstice Concert
The Friends of Gorgas Park are thrilled to host the Summer Solstice Festival along with the Roxborough Development Corporation and Advent. The lineup includes: Kwesi K., The Fractals, The Late Saints, John Byrne, Matt Gauss Band, Pete Donnelly & Tayla St. Rose, Ali Wadsworth, Cookie Rabinowitz, The Doublewides, Peace Creeps and Ben Arnold. Hosted by Dan Reed of WXPN.

Our Summer Concert and Movie Series schedule is up! Don’t miss our first concert, this Thursday, June 5th at 7pm. The Savoy Company will present selections from Gilbert and Sullivan’s The Sorcerer and Trial by Jury.

Farmer’s Market starts tomorrow
Spring has sprung and the fresh produce has sprung with it! The McCanns are back at Gorgas Park for another Farmer’s Market season on Fridays from 2-6. Tomorrow they will have asparagus, spring mix, spinach, honey, vegetable seedlings, potted herbs and a few strawberries.
J’s GourAmaze Fine Foods and Baked Goods will be one of the featured vendors at the Friday afternoon Farmers’ Market in connection with Farm to City starting tomorrow. Stop at the stand and take home some of their popular hand made, all natural products, including their famous Jewish Apple Cake!
Can’t make it tomorrow? Don’t worry- the Farmer’s Market will be at Gorgas Park every Friday through the fall.
Community Cleanup Tomorrow!
Join us tomorrow for the Gorgas Park Community Cleanup! We will have plenty of supplies on hand. We will work from 10am-1pm, and BBQ after. It’s going to be a gorgeous day- help us spruce up the park for spring.
